This post is to give you all a glimpse into some of Nicole’s favourite spaces and where she finds inspiration from.
Daily inspiration is so important. We are so lucky to live in such a time to have digital content at our finger tips to give us the inspiration we need! At Nicole Martine Beachwear, we do believe though that sometimes this digital world is not always reality and we must travel both locally and internationally (if possible) to explore new cultures and experience the sights and sounds around the world. Nicole has a list of dream international destinations to visit but sometimes local gems provide you just the inspiration you need.
“One of my local inspiration spaces is KwaZulu Natal, this tropical city holds very special memories for me and it also where my all-time favourite hotel is located, The Oysterbox! Another destination close to my heart is Mauritius Island, which actually holds many similar characteristics to Natal. What is not to like about Mauritius, it’s the perfect beach destination and offers so much more if you are willing to explore! Get out and travel, travel and travel some more”.
“Tropical spaces and places inspire me. The one space that must always be tropical and ooze island style is my home! My husband thankfully loves it”. With interior designers in the family Nicole finds it is easy to always be inspired and is not afraid to be bold with expressing her style. Fresh green palm or banana leaves is a must feature in her home. Nicole is also obsessed with pineapples, and you’ll find them scattered in each room; “They are such fun and embody that holiday feeling, they remind me of long happy beach days in the sun!”
